We are 100% compliant with the rules and principles of the RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation):
- Each GPS coordinate is collected from mobile uses with formal and explicit consent from the user for use of the data for analytical purposes (via the CMP). Mytraffic carries out daily audits on the conformity of the data received.
- Each GPS coordinate is transformed, anonymised and aggregated to provide statistical information only.
- No personal data is kept (no identification, no time-stamp, no journey). Only anonymised and geolocated data linked to a point of interest.
Mytraffic has been audited, with a hearing in the first quarter of 2021, by the CNIL, the independent authority responsible for ensuring compliance with the RGPD regulations in France.
The purpose of this inspection, which was initiated as part of the CNIL's 2020 programme to inspect players using geolocation data, was to check that Mytraffic's activities, processes and data processing were in compliance. At the end of this sequence, during which the CNIL audited and evaluated in depth the RGPD compliance of all Mytraffic's geolocation data processing, the CNIL decided to close the inspection, without any specific observations.
